FULL ITINERARY
DAY 1: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
A day will start early by driving from Kilimanjaro Airport towards Tarangire National Park through the Maasai Steppe. A Game drive in Tarangire will allow you to experience a large herd of elephants and enjoy the scenery. Other large herds of animals such as Zebras, baboons, Lions, Wildebeest and Plenty of other Predators as well. Picnic lunch will be served at a public picnic site with an amazing view of Tarangire river where herds of animals drink water. Dine and spend the night in Karatu at Farm of Dreams. DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER GAME DRIVE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After early breakfast at the lodge in Karatu we descend to a crater with a packed lunch box for a full game drive. After an Early Breakfast, we will start our descend into the Crater from the campsite on the crater rim. A full day Crater tour will allow you to experience Nature and humanity working together in harmony where Maasai lives together side by side with wild animals. A famous Hippo Pool, a lake within a crater and massive herds of animals. After an extreme adventure, will travel and enter Serengeti for dinner and the night will be spent at Embalakai/Sound of Silence. Accommodation: Embalakai/Sound of Silence
DAY 3: CENTRAL SERENGETI FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
After early breakfast at the lodge we drive to Central Serengeti national park Serengeti Plains is dedicated to a full day game drive along Serengeti plains- home to elusive lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelles, and crocodiles among others. The Serengeti is famed for its incredible wildlife, stunning views and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. In this frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters Dinner and night will be spent at Embalakai/Sound of Silence.
DAY 4: GAME DRIVE NORTHERN SERENGETI (MIGRATION/CROSSING)
After early breakfast at the lodge we depart with packed lunch box with a game on route at Serengeti heading to the northern part of Serengeti Kogatende and Lobo area along mara river to witness one of the most famous and wonders of the world wildebeest migration crossing the mara riverbank from masai mara in kenya the herds spread out across the northern Serengeti, where the Mara River provides the migration with its most serious obstacle. This river gushes through the northern Serengeti from Kenya's adjacent Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Watching the frantic herds of the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River can be very spectacular; there are often scenes of great panic and confusion. It's common to see herds cross the Mara River north on one day, and then back south a few days later. Dinner and night will be spent at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp
DAY 5: GAME DRIVE NORTHERN SERENGETI (MIGRATION/CROSSING)
As usual, you will finish a good breakfast and begin your day. In the months between mid june to september the migration can be found in this region. From mid June to September, the Mara River in this region offers the most dramatic river crossing of the great migration. Fierce,deep and heavily rain fed the river takes an enormous toll on the migrating wildebeest. Watching the wildebeest surging through the torrential flow, some drowning and a few falling prey to lurking crocodiles is an unforgettable sight. If it’s your lucky day you will be able to witness this natural wonder and watch nature take its course. The pristine of Serengeti offers an enormous amount of bigcats game with lions, leopards and cheetah in plenty. During the dry season the permanent water sources in the valley attract plenty of resident and migratory animals, resulting in excellent game viewing. During the full day game drive, you will have a stop where you can have your picnic lunch. Dinner and night will be spent at Mara Kati Kati Tented Camp
DAY 7: NORTHERN SERENGETI GAME ON ROUTE TO ARUSHA VIA KLEIN’S GATE
After an Early Breakfast, we begin a game on route along Kogatende area driving towards Arusha and exist Serengeti National Park through Klein’s gate by passing Maasai villages such as Ololosokwan, Oldonyo lengai Mountain along the Natron while heading to Arusha Dinner and overnight at RiverTrees Inn Arusha
DAY 8: DEPARTURE TO KILIMANJARO AIRPORT
After breakfast we bid farewell to the lodging staff and drive towards Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight. This will mark the end of our epic tour in Tanzania. We wish you a safe journey and Karibu tena!
